Shelby Springstun resides in Boonville with her husband, Logan. She is a Hanover College graduate, and earned her MBA from the University of Southern Indiana. Shelby currently works for Old National Bank as an Investment Officer. Shelby has served as a CASA advocate since 2015, and joined the board in 2021. She also serves as a board member and Treasurer for the Boonville Country Club.
Heather Sommerville and her husband, Drew, moved to Newburgh in 2009 and have considered it home ever since. She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's and master's degree in the field of education. After resigning from teaching to raise her children, Olivia and Jack, she has remained involved with the local schools, various community organizations, and church. In her spare time, Heather enjoys traveling with her family and the best trips usually include a hike and a good book! Heather joined the Warrick County CASA board in March 2023.
Emily Elsea was raised in Newburgh and returned to Warrick County in 2005. She is a graduate of Castle High School and earned a degree in elementary education from University of Evansville. She currently works as an agency representative for International Student Exchange. Emily and her husband Erik have 3 children- Elizabeth, Liam, and Ryan- and have hosted 3 exchange students. Emily enjoys traveling, photography, listening to Spanish music, and going to sporting events.
Erin lives in Newburgh with her husband, Josh, and their son Isaac. Currently, Erin is the Secondary Learning Specialist for the Warrick County School Corporation. As a teacher and school administrator, Erin was able to see firsthand the direct and positive impact a CASA has for a child. Erin also supports families in need as a board member for Mrs. C’s Closet. She looks forward to continuing to support the mission of Warrick County CASA as a board member.
Erin lives in Newburgh with her husband Aaron. They have three adult daughters, Maddie, Annie and Sara. Erin graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught in the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation in Fishers, IN before having children. Erin valued and treasured being a stay at home mom for 11 years. Once all 3 daughters were attending elementary school, Erin returned to education in the Warrick County School Corporation; she spent 13 years teaching reading remediation and recovery to students at Newburgh Elementary. Erin recently retired from teaching and is now focusing on the next chapter of her life which includes tutoring, traveling and philanthropy. She is involved with Susan G. Komen, 7 Sisters, YMCA Livestrong program and now CASA. Erin enjoys exercising, reading, spending time with friends and family, and setting new goals for herself.

Amy (Harkness) Welp is a native of southern IN. She currently lives in Newburgh with her husband, Doug and 3 sons Benjamin, Jackson, and Dylan. She attended Butler University and Indiana University and worked as an occupational therapist before becoming a mother. She enjoys volunteering in various philanthropic organizations, church and school as well as traveling, reading and attending her boys’ activities. She has been a CASA advocate since 2020 and serves on the board as well. She loves serving others.
Abbie Redmon

Abbie is a life-long Warrick County resident. She is married to Tom, and they have three children, John, Marshall, and Lillie. Abbie graduated from Boonville High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, graduate work at Western Kentucky, and her Education Specialist License and Doctoral work at Indiana State University and Oakland City University. Abbie has worked for Warrick County School Corporation for 26 years and has served in many roles - teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal. She is currently the WCSC K-12 Director of Learning. Abbile loves helping people develop and grow. Abbie enjoys reading, streaming, live theater, traveling, and, of course, advocating for children.
Kellie Noe

Because of her love of children and educating children, Kellie has served on the CASA board for four years, assisting in fundraising events such as the Girl Friends Gala, as well as assisting in other various areas of need.
She also serves on the Junior Achievement Board, which encourages continued education with respect to planning and attaining future jobs and careers.
